Popular CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has hinted that the Nigerian Police Force would go after more pranksters over their harmful or outrageous pranks.
The Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) representative has sounded out a clear warning to skitmakers and pranksters alike who have penchants for taking their skits too far, causing harm or damage to the public.
CSP Olumuyiwa made this announcement on Tuesday night via his Twitter account condemning a viral prank video.
The PRO shared a prank video where a prankster beat a commuter, then released a dog on him with the dog chasing him out of his compound.
Retweeting the video, the PRO tweeted, “You see am? If he’s arrested now, many will still be attacking the police, that it’s a business. Imagine… anyway, every day for the thief, a day for the owner. Make em dey do am dey go.”
This comes after an Oyo-based skit maker, Trinity Guy, was arrested in June over his “immoral prank” after series of warnings from the police regarding his extreme prank videos
The skit-maker Trinity Guy was arraigned and remained by an Oyo State Magistrate Court at Iyaganku, Ibadan on the count of “Sexualizing a female minor”.
