Richest – Davido Reacts As His Billionaire Dad And Uncle Arrive Dangote Refinery Launch (Video)
The closely knit group of elites and top dogs in Nigeria all stopped by at the commissioning of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Epe, Lagos on Monday.
Davido’s father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, and Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, were part of the long list of dignitaries at the historic event.
Other Dignitaries including the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele, The Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed, The Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawan, Ogun State Governor, Former Senate President Bukola Saraki , Minister oF Aviation Hadi Sirika , Captains of Industries, Royal Father’s including the Oni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi among others were on ground to witness the Official Commissioning of the Long awaited Dangote Refinery.

The Dangote Group, in a statement posted on Twitter Saturday, said the refinery will be churning out premium motor spirit (PMS), diesel (AGO), aviation jet fuel, and dual-purpose Kerosene (DPK), among other refined products.
The inauguration was done by President Muhammadu Buhari as part of his last official duties before handing over on May 29, 2023. The project will enable Nigeria achieve self-sufficiency in refined petroleum products, as well as export them to other African markets.
The 650,000 barrels per day Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company, located in Ibeju Lekki Lagos, as projected, can create a $21 billion market for Nigeria’s crude oil.
Dangote Refinery and the petrochemical company is set to reshape Nigeria’s economy and position the country as a global energy player as it will help address the fuel shortage challenges in the country.
