Ice Prince Arrested For Assaulting and Abducting A Police Officer
Rapper Ice Prince has been arrested for assaulting, threatening and abducting a police officer.
According to spokesperson of the Lagos State Command Benjamin Hundeyin, the 35-year-old rapper agreed to be taken to station after he was pulled over at 3 am today for driving without license plates.
He then abducted the officer in his car, assaulted and threatened to throw him in the river.
The “Oleku” singer is to be arraigned later today, according to a tweet sent out by Hundeyin early this morning.
It also includes a picture of the rapper in a white kaftan- presumed to have been taken after his arrest- and a section of the constitution outlining the penalty for assaulting an officer.
This comes after another artiste Buju, was pardoned after admitting to spitting in the face of a police officer who had assaulted him during a stop and search.
