Carter Efe’s “Machala” Removed From Streaming Services
Comedian Carter Efe’s song “Machala” which was dedicated to Wizkid, has been removed from Spotify and other streaming platforms.
It is still unclear why it was removed, though some sources suggested it could be because a split sheet wasn’t signed before it was uploaded.
“Machala” which features Berri Tiga was released last month and debuted at number 14 on Billboard Afrobeats Chart and went to number 1 on the Nigerian Apple Music Chart.
The Instagram skit-maker has previously credited the song with changing his life and disclosed plans to get Wizkid to appear in the video.
This comes after Terri’s latest EP “In Transit” was also pulled down from streaming platforms.
Terri was once signed to Wizkid’s Starboy Records but was rumoured to have left the label earlier this tear.
There has been no word yet from the two artists regarding the removal of their songs from digital streaming platforms (DSPs).
