Associating With Secular Artists, Davido Portable, Zlatan Ibile, And Others
Unlike other clerics, Pastor Tobi associates and mingles with secular artists, mostly from the Nigerian entertainment industry. His actions have left many wondering why a man of God should be associated with entertainers.
As strange as it may sound, he revealed in an interview with The SUN that he associates with secular artists because they are talented and need support for their talents.
The controversial Nigerian pastor has linked up with Afrobeat stars like Davido, Portable, and Zlatan Ibile.
He was recently criticized by fans for spraying bundles of pounds on Davido and his team during a hangout they had in the UK.
He replied to critics that he would have sprayed more if he was younger. Davido on the other hand advice him to use his song ‘FEM’ as a way of replying those dragging him.
In April, 2022 Portable received £3,000 from Tobi Adegboyega during a courtesy visit to his house in the UK. Portable made this known while sharing photos and videos of the cash gift he received from the man of God.
He also set tongues wagging on the internet in July this year after he gifted Davsido’s lawyer, Bobo, and Virgil Abloh, LV sneakers, which are reportedly worth a massive sum of N10 million.
When you hear the title “Pastor”, it quickly rings a bell of someone who is highly spirited and called to work in God’s Vineyard with the aim solely of winning souls to God.
This is not so in the case of the flamboyant man of God, as he has been accused of a fraud case in the past, which sparked rumors that the UK government wants to close his church.

Not only has the flashy pastor been trolled for associating with secular artists. After a BBC Panorama programme carried out an investigation into him, he was said to have been exploiting his church members for monetary gain.
