Pictures: Funke Akindele Stuns In A Gorgeous Pink Dress As She Celebrates Her 45th Birthday

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele looked beautiful in a gorgeous pink dress in pictures shared on Instagram to celebrate her 45th birthday.

The stunning dress featured rhinestones and a floor-length chiffon sleeves which was tossed up in one of the snaps for a dramatic effect.

With her short hair and simple makeup of a smokey eye and pink lipgloss, the “Omo Ghetto” star looked incredible.

“Oluwaseun! Happy birthday to you Olufunke Akindele,” she wrote in the caption.

The lord will never forsake you in Jesus name!! Amen!!!

Funke, along with Tonto Dikeh and Banky W, is one of the entertainers vying for political office in next year’s elections.

She is the deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Lagos State, a role she has described as “An opportunity to help liberate and improve the wellbeing of our people, particularly the deprived youth, women and the girl child.”

This comes after her husband, JJC Skillz, with whom she shares four-year-old twin boys, announced their separation.

“Dear friends and family, I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted, we shared a lot of things together and have created two beautiful children. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us,” he wrote on Instagram in July.

“I know I have tried my best to fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now. Three months ago and at Funke’s insistence, I moved out of the house and apart from AMVCA, have not been able to discuss the future of our relationship.”

I’m making this announcement so that the public is clear that we both are pursuing separate lives. We still have issues that need to be addressed such as the custody and wellbeing of our children which is paramount as well as business interests which need to be disentangled but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or the other”

Funke is has not publicly responded to his statement.
