Big Brother Naija Level Up housemates, Groovy and Phyna are fast becoming an uncoupling pair barely a week after getting on with each other.
Groovy after the Oraimo task on Thursday night got mad at his love interest, Phyna after she was caught hyping up Level 1 housemate, Hermes during his rounds in the Arena.
While other housemates were still basking in the euphoria of new outfits from Biggie, Groovy called Phyna to bear his mind over her acts in the arena.
He chided her for taking sides with Hermes, opining that his girlfriend has a soft spot for the Level 1 housemate.
It took the effort of an emissary in Byrann to cool off the heated moment between the couple. Phyna who’d walked out on Groovy went back apologising for her act, telling him that she didn’t mean to make him get mad at her.
While Groovy and Phyna try to navigate their relationship, the ship has seemed to grow very unpopular with fans. Many factors have contributed to fan apathy toward their romantic affiliation. Different sections of viewers abhor the relationship either due to Groovy’s prior relationship with the now disqualified Beauty or the seeming betrayal of Amaka by Phyna.
