Singer Davido sparked reactions on Twitter after referring to his fiancee Chioma Rowland as his ‘gist partner’
The 29-year-old shared a a screenshot from a video call with Chioma, with whom he shares a two-year-old son Ifeanyi with the caption: ‘My gist partner @chefchi
It’s not the first time OBO is getting into trouble with the ‘online in-laws’ over his moniker for Chioma.
He was also criticized last year for calling her ‘Mama Ify’ in his birthday message to her.
This comes after his first public appearance with his other son, Dawson, whom he had with a UK-based makeup artist.
The ‘Stand Strong’ singer was rumoured to have fathered the child in 2020 but only confirmed it on Sunday when he stepped out with the two-year-old to attend a church service in London.

Davido confirmed his romance with Chioma in 2018 with the release of his song ‘Assurance’ which was dedicated to her.
A got engaged year later in London while she was pregnant with Ifeanyi.
They were rumoured to have broken up in 2020, allegedly because Chioma assaulted him after he was pictured with a cast on his leg.
Chioma firmly denied this in a statement posted to Instagram.
