Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has broken his silence over the attack on his convoy by gunmen
The 41-year-old born Okechukwu Paschal was attacked on Friday by the gunmen who riddled his car with bullets.
He took to Instagram on Monday to show his appreciation to God for helping him escape unharmed and to clarify that the attack happened in Anambra State and not Imo as previously reported.
‘God Did!!! The marathon continues, all my people are safe & sound thanks for all the calls & messages, Imolites make una no mind @instablog9ja shit never happened here in Imo, it happened in Anambra on my way to work in Asaba, fact remains, the entire southeast needs to be sanitiser completely.’ [sic]
The celebrity bar man as he likes to call himself, also shared another picture which shows him tying his wife’s shoelace with the caption: ‘On Friday God gave me, my wife and my team another chance to enjoy life. What would have been the faith of my kids? What God cannot do does not exist!!! Them knack us but God no gree make e enter. God did.’
This comes after he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged tax fraud and money laundering.
He was released after four days in custody after which he took to Instagram to thank his fans for their support.
He wrote: ‘EFCC tested Ok,Thank You family, I will never forget.
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, make Una resend all my birthday wishes.
