This Is One Of The Reasons Why Actors Are Kidnapped, Lizzy Gold Reacts To Fake Reports Of Her Net Worth
Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has slammed some pages posting exaggerated figures of her net worth and blamed them as one of the reasons why actors are kidnapped.
The 34-year-old shared screenshots from two of the sites on Instagram and threatened to arrest the people behind them.
According to one of the sites, the former beauty queen is worth around $400,000 while another placed her net worth between $400,000 to $600,000.
Both of which she denies.
She wrote: ‘This is one of the reasons actors are been kidnapped ..they think we are so rich …I need to arrest the person behind this lies…
‘I am working hard to be wealthy but am currently not close to any of that amount mentioned there…’
This comes after the the Actors of Guild of Nigeria (AGN) confirmed that the kidnappers of actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel are demanding a $100,000 ransom.
Another actress Hilda Dokubo, earlier pointed out that some actors paint a wrong picture of their wealth on social media which may give a wrong impression of their financial status.
