Missing Nollywood Stars: Fear As Funds In Cynthia Okereke’s Bank Account Cleared
President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas, has revealed that the missing actress, Cynthia Okereke’s bank account has been cleared.
Cynthia and actor Clemson Cornell (Agbogidi), were suspected to have been kidnapped while on location in Enugu State.
Spokesperson of the AGN Monalisa Chinda Coker, shared the sad news in an official statement shared to Instagram.
She explained that the sad incident had increased the fear of it’s members regarding their safety while filming in the country.
According to her, the president of the guild had therefore, instructed all actors to avoid traveling to outskirts of cities to film except adequate measures are put in place to ensure their security.
But in an interview with Saturday Beats, Emeka said that they have not confirmed if the actors were indeed kidnapped.
He said: ‘We have not confirmed the kidnap as it were. The only thing we know is that all the money in Cynthia Okereke’s account was cleared this morning (Friday).
“We are expecting to get a kind of signal from the people holding them hostage to know whether it is a kidnapping or not.’
