The family of the late actress Ada Ameh, has announced that her funeral will be held on the 25 and 26 of August.
Her younger sister, Abahi Ameh shared the announcement in a video posted to Instagram on Friday.
She also slammed the rumour making rounds on social media that Ada has no living family members, ‘saying we are very much alive… We have not been wiped out…’
The actress’s sister also explained that the family had decided to continue posting content in collaboration with Ada’s Instagram page but their intentions had been misinterpreted.
Abahi also thanked the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), other organizations and the fans for their support in this difficult time.
She made no mention of the demand for an autopsy by a group of Idoma women who have described Ada’s death as suspicious.
The women, led by former Benue State Governorship aspirant, Dr. Roseline Ada Chenge, expressed shock at the actress’s sudden death. Chenge confirmed that she was on the phone with actress, a few hours before the time she reportedly died and that she was in good health.
The ‘The Johnsons’ star reportedly slumped and died on July 17 in Warri where she was the guest of an oil company.
