Yemi Alade Stuns In A Gorgeous Corset Ankara Dress With Dramatic Sleeves
Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade is a well-known lover of Ankara fabric and she frequently wears beautiful outfits made from it in both her music videos and at events.
The award-winning songstress showcased another stunning Ankara creation for her latest Instagram pictures, wearing a gorgeous corset dress with dramatic sleeves.

She wore her blonde hair in half up half down style and added a green eyeshadow to match the beautiful dress.
This comes after it emerged that Yemi was denied a Canadian visa over fears ‘she won’t leave the country’ after her performance at the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique.
Yemi was scheduled to headline the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique but has now been replaced at the festival by Sampa The Great, a Zambian-born Australia-based singer. This is according to reports released by Le Devoir, a French newspaper published and distributed in Canada. Suzanne Rousseau, the festival co-founder, said the visa denial was due to financial reasons and fears that the group wouldn’t leave Canada.
L’Finally, we got an answer saying the musicians were refused, saying they have to guarantee that they have enough financial means that will make them go back to their country,’ she said.
The ‘Begging’ singer poked fun at the issue by changing the location of her next Instagram post as ‘The Canadian Border.’
