Singer, Tekno was feeling generous again on Thursday as he took to Twitter to search for fans to give money. ‘Who I do I dash money?’ The 29-year-old asked.
The tweet was soon flooded with comments from fans who dropped their account details and made great efforts to to convince the ‘Mufasa’ that they deserve the win the giveaway.
Tekno is well-known for his generosity on social media. In July 2017 he gave a lucky fan half a million Naira, then in December of the same year, he shared the another half a million Naira among some of his lucky fans.
Then in August 2018, an elderly woman who named him as her best singer was rewarded with N500,000 Naira. A year later the Bauchi-born singer was invited for questioning by the Lagos State police after some pictures of naked women from the set of his music video were shared on social media.
The Police Spokesman, Bala Elkana, confirmed the arrest saying: ‘The command has arrested Tekno and the two girls for conveying half-naked girls at the Lekki area of Lagos. He is presently undergoing questioning at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti’
But the singer, born Augustine Kelechi, was granted bail shortly after on health grounds and he celebrated in his favourite way: by giving out N50,000 to some of his Twitter followers.
