Officially a Rocket, Burna Boy reacts to customized Houston Rockets shirt
Singer Burna Boy gushed over his customized Houston Rockets jersey which was presented to him after his sold-out show in the city. In the pictures he shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the 31-year-old held up the shirt with his birth name ‘Damini’ written on it.
‘Officially a Rocket. Don’t chat to me…,’ he wrote.
Burna, who’s currently on his Love Damini formally welcomed into the basketball team after his sold-out performance at the 19,300 capacity Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

The song which is off his sixth studio album Love Damini debuted at number 86 on the chart. He recently teased a remix of the record which has been hailed as the Song of the Summer with award-winning UK rapper, Santan Dave.
It has been gaining a lot of attention, especially since Burna revealed that Toni Braxton, who’s 200 song ‘Wasn’t Man Enoug’ is sampled on the record, owns 60% of the earnings from it.
Burna later clarified his statement, explaining that the American singer does not own 60% of the entire sings but just parts of it.
“It’s normal. It’s not 60% of the whole thing. Just a little part. I’ve actually made more money from that song than from any other song in my whole career,” he told Kick Game UK.
