Twitter users have criticized Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, for supporting life coach, Solomon Buchi’s controversial post in which he described his fiancée as ‘not the most beautiful nor the most intelligent…’
Solomon Buchi drew the ire of social media users on Monday for the lengthy post dedicated to his fiance, who is an actuarial scientist.
But Annie Idibia, 37, took to the comment section of his Instagram page to support him, leading to widespread criticism on Twitter.
Annie has publicly spoken about her issues with husband of eight years, 2 Baba, several times.
Speculations about the state of their marriage were reignited in May after she appeared to unfollow him on Instagram.
However, a statement by her manager, Williams Konoha, attributed this to a glitch on the platform.
She wrote: ‘The couple would appreciate it if the general public desists from peddling rumours as they are undeniably detrimental to the public profile of both Annie and Tuface and border on slander.
‘We advise any persons and outlets spreading rumours to retract all publications about the Instagram situation and the purported state of Annie’s relationship status.
‘We will observe the situation and are willing to take legal action against perpetrators of any falsehood designed to tarnish the image of Annie Idibia.’
