Tems can be heard in the background of the trailer belting a cover to Bob Marley’s No woman No cry and Kendrick Lamar’s Alright.
Tems’ acclaim and success continue to grow in leap and bounds as in less than two years, she has featured on tracks with the likes of Drake, Future, and Wizkid, which led to her topping the Billboard 100, snagging a Grammy nomination, and winning two BET awards, being the first Nigerian female artiste to achieve same.
The Black Panther movie franchise faced criticisms for its soundtrack for its movie in 2018, as it featured very little African presence. Following the Trailer’s release, fans and social media users alike have taken to social media platforms to celebrate this feat.
Tems has secured a Marvel soundtrack appearance, a ft on a Beyoncé’s album, a hot 100 number one, and hasn’t even released her first album. That’s a star right there! pic.twitter.com/mhNJ1vAPru

Some users have started to opine that Tems may be Nigeria’s biggest female Afrobeats export.
Will it be ridiculous to say that Tems is one more big song away from becoming our greatest female music export?

Even peers and contemporaries gave Tems her flowers for her achievements.
Big Tems 💜
