Arise Interview: Is Presidential Candidate, Atiku Opining That Northern Nigerians Are Uncivilised?
In a shocking statement that has left everyone surprised, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has revealed that 90% of Northerners do not use the internet.
The statement has however stirred controversy on Social Media as no official database was made available to back up the former VP’s assertion.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Arise TV, Atiku shamed his Presidential opponent and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, by saying he has no Political Structure that can guarantee him victory in 2023.
The 75-year-old said:
“They claim they have 100 million supporters online but you saw what they scored in Osun. In fact, in the North, 90 percent of our people are not on the internet”.
I bet he does not understand what he meant by “In fact, in the North, 90 percent of our people are not on the internet”.
Atiku’s statement of course, got tepid reactions from Netizens who believe the former Vice President shot himself on the foot for such take.
“90% of Northerners are not on social media,” is not something an elder statesman & a former VP, should say on Arise TV, a National Television. The data is debatable, but it should never be a bragging right in 2022. If anything, Atiku portrayed the North as underdeveloped.

So Atiku is banking on illiteracy and tribalism to win in 2023.
Tinubu is banking on religion and emi lokan to win.
Peter Obi is banking on competency and his plans for young people. If you are a young person and you don't vote for Peter Obi, you don't love yourself.

Atiku: "It will take a miracle for Labour Party with no structure in the grassroots to win the presidency. In the north 90% of our people are not in tune to Social media."
