Fireboy DML channels 2Pac as he wears bandana while out in London
Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML channeled 2Pac as he stepped out in a blue bandana in London.
The 26-year-old has been drawing inspiration from the late rapper recently, from his latest single ‘Bandana’ featuring fellow YBNL label mate Asake, to his Instagram display picture which is a photo of the ‘Dear Mama’ singer with a white bandana on his head.
For his day out in the British capital, he wore a blue and green pattern shirt, lemon trousers, green shoes and covered his eyes with a pair of black shades.
He made it clear that his outfit was inspired by 2Pac his caption, “Bandana lori bi ti 2Pac.”
Fireboy DML is no stranger to head coverings though, as he frequently wore a durag when he shot into the limelight in 2019 with the hit song ‘Jealous.’
In a Twitter Q&A session with his fans, who are known as Fire Citizens, the artiste shared details about ‘Bandana’ and his forthcoming third studio album, Playboy which comes out August 5.
He explained that he knew that Asake was the right choice for the song after he heard his verse.
“When I recorded Bandana, I had just the two verses without a hook. I recorded 17 different hooks buh didn’t like it.. So I spoke to Olamide. He told me Asake was the best man to give me a hook for the song.
When Asake finally recorded it, I knew it was the one,” he said.
Other details he shared during the Q&A include a collaboration with Chris Brown and Jon Bellion on the album.
