One million boys: Old Video of Portable being paraded after stealing ‘Keke Napep,’ iPhone resurfaces
An old video that appears to show Portable being publicly paraded after he was caught stealing some items including a tricycle, popularly known as ‘Keke Napep’ and an iPhone, has resurfaced online.
The graphic video shows a man who bears a striking resemblance to the singer being stripped and beaten.
This comes after the police announced on Monday that it was investigating the ‘Zazu Zeh’ singer after he was caught on video claiming that he founded the notorious cult group, One Million Boys.
A statement released by the spokesman of the force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirms that the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali has ordered an investigation into the singer’s claims.
“Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action…,” the statement reads in part.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have called on Olamide and businessman Obi Cubana, who both co-signed the controversial singer to call him to order.
Olamide hopped on Portable’s Zazu song that saturated the airwaves last Christmas – Obi Cubana would later give the Zazu crooner a reported sum of N50 million to endorse his locally brewed gin, Odogwu Bitters.
