A passenger plane has reportedly crash-landed on a busy highway in Ikeja axis of Lagos State, on Tuesday night.
Footages of the incident are currently making the rounds on social media as netizens get befuddled over what led to the ‘crash’
However, no indication that there was any casualty at the time of filing this report.
Unverified accounts has it that the plane is a service plane being towed away from the airport to an unknown destination.

Update: No Fresh Plane Crash In Ikeja Environs as claimed by social media outlets – 22:52
Burbles Media can confirm no fresh plane mishap happened in Lagos after sighting a Fact Check publication by Daily Trust.
“Checks by Daily Trust showed that the plane could be one of the moribund aircraft which had gone out of use.
Also dismissing the plane crash, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, Lagos Terrorial Head of National Emergency Management Agency told Daily Trust that he had reached out to control towers and other relevant sections in the aviation industry but they all said the incident didn’t happen.
He added, “The Control Tower could not confirm and no plane is missing on the TRACON. It is pertinent to clear the rumour going round on the purported plane crash landing around Ikeja with a obscuring footage in a crowded traffic scene.
“After due consultations with all critical stakeholders and tracking of all incoming and outgoing flights in Lagos, there is no plane missing so far.”
