VP, Yemi Osinbajo has picked the expression of interest form of the incumbent party, All Progressives Congress (APC)
On Thursday, Senator Kabiru Gaya, one of the leaders of Osinbajo’s campaign, picked up the forms on behalf of the Vice President expressing interest in succeeding his principal officer.
Osinbajo, who joined the presidential race last month, has been going round the country to consult delegates ahead of the primaries which will hold at the end of this month.
The APC has extended the form sale by four days.
With Nigeria’s next general elections coming in February 2023, preparations, schemes, and aspirations have intensified ahead of the polls.
Many aspirants have declared their intentions to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari and while some of these candidates stand a realistic chance, others may have to withdraw the hat they have thrown in the ring.
