Arsenal Told To Pay £100m For Nigerian Striker, Victor Osimhen
Nigeria international and Arsenal target, Victor Osimhen’s price tag has been pegged at £100m by Napoli, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Osimhen’s rich vein of form has earned him 17 goals this season for the Italian side still pushing for the Serie A title with 3 matches to go.
His form has attracted interest from a host of top clubs including Premier League side Arsenal as Mikel Arteta desperately seeks to for a point man after former club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona in January.
And Alexandre Lacazette, as well as Eddie Nketiah, could leave this summer when their contracts expire.
But according to journalist Di Marzio, if Arsenal are to sign Osimhen, it’ll cost them £100m.
“So, I think that (Aurelio) De Laurentiis is very smart to buy and very difficult when he has to sell the players.”
“I don’t think he will let Osimhen go for less than £100m – minimum.”
“So, it depends on which club in Premier League will have all this money to spend in the market only for one player.”
Other premier clubs interested in Victor Osimhen’s signature this summer include the resurgent Newcastle and Manchester United
