Tems Collaborates With Drake Again on Future’s New Album

Within a year of appearing on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, Nigerian songstress Tems will be featured alongside the Canadian hitmaker and Future on track 7 of the latter’s upcoming Album, I NEVER LIKED YOU.

The complete tracklist and features for Future’s upcoming album have been unveiled, with appearances from Tems, Drake (twice), Kodak Black, Young Thug, Gunna and Kanye West.

In an interview with Cool FM, Tems recounted her experience with working with Drake, she said

“I got a message from him … “He was just like you’re crazy, I would definitely love to link up, and we just got in touch until I was in the States for a bit.”

Tems’ stock has been on the rise. Following her feature on Made In Lagos, she has gone on to bag critical acclaim and numerous award nominations and wins, multiple billboard entries, a critically acclaimed EP, Drake feature, a Rihanna co-sign and Adele fan moment.

Tems, real name Temilade Openiyi was born in Lagos and relocateed to the United Kingdom with her British-Nigerian dad and Nigerian mum. After the unfortunate divorce of her parents, she returned to Nigeria and used singing and songwriting as her solace from loneliness.
