Erik Ten Hag Appointed Manchester United Manager From Next Season
Premier League giant, Manchester United has announced the appointment of Ajax boss, Erik ten Hag as the new manager of the club from the 2022/2023 football season.
The 52-year-old Dutchman will move to Old Trafford from Ajax in the summer, having signed a contract that will take him through until June 2025, with the option of a further year.
The move is subject to work visa requirements.
“It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead,” he told the club’s official website.
“I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.”

Ten Hag would be joining the list of 8 other dutchmen who have managed a premier league side. He started his coaching career at Go Ahead Eagles before moving to Bayern Munich’s reserve team and then Utrecht.
Ten Hag has been head coach at Ajax since 2017, leading the Eredivisie side to two league titles as well as an impressive run to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in 2018/19.
Ten Hag will take charge of his first Premier League match when the 2022/23 season kicks off on the weekend of 6 August 2022.
