ASUU: Rema Rethinks Unilag Admission, Mulls Over Joining Private University
Nigerian private higher institution, Bowen College has replied buzzing singer, Rema over his recent comments on the lingering ASUU strike.
The Mavin act took to his Twitter page to revile the industrial strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities that has delayed his resumption at the University of Lagos since gaining admission November 2021.
The Raves and Roses crooner tweeted:
ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o, e don do nau! 😖
Bowen’s Twitter admin took a bite of the humour pie by replying the singer to consider admission into the school as they’re not affected by the universities strike.
ASUU can’t delay you if you’re enrolled in Bowen University, The school’s official page tweeted
Rema in response to the tweet cheekily wrote:
“Unilag private university don dey Toast me o, I’m blushing omg stop it 🙈😏”
Bowen University is a private higher institution located in Iwo, Osun State. The school has had notable figures like Wizkid, Lepacious Bose, Bimbo Odukoya enrolled in times past.
Perhaps a shot to woo over one of Nigeria’s biggest rave to the private institution isn’t a reach, given the school’s line up of past celebrity students.
