This Nigerian Shutterbug Takes Picture Of Old Drummer, Gifts Him N500k from NFTs sale proceeds
A Nigerian amateur photographer has put a huge smile on the face of a local drummer in Oyo state.
Twitter users were full of beams when Adisa Olashile, a member of the National Youth Sevice Corps, posted photos of an aged ‘gangan’ drummer he took with his full consent in Egbeda Local Government Area of the state.
The corps member who was on his weekly Community Development Service spotted the elderly man entertaining and Eulogising a teeming audience of young people present at the scene with his drumming skill set.
The shutterbug got a hold of his iPhone to take photos of the drummer whose face lit up as he showed them his shots afterwards.
This was when I was showing him his pictures ….. thank you guys for sharing ❤️💐 pic.twitter.com/yvJdEqNnwu

Little did the old man who beamed ear to ear know that there was more for him than just the shots he’d seen. Adisa, who’s also a Non fungible tokens NFTs expert, sold the piece on Opensea, a marketplace for NFTs and halved the proceeds between him and his muse.
The essence of NYSC as a scheme can’t be more buttressed with Adisa’s gesture. The young lad sure deserves a recognition from the National body.

Remember Baba onilu? This is the video of how I gave him is 50% of the money made from his picture that minted as nft on @opensea .
NOTE: I’m not rich , I just felt baba needs the money more , nft is here to stay and I will be fine later. pic.twitter.com/iPWlDchREb— Adisa Olashile🇳🇬 (@adisaolashile) April 8, 2022
