Over the years, we have witnessed so many situations where some celebrities have been called out to be homewreckers. However, some of these claims were not proven to be true.

On several occasions, the likes of Nancy Isime, Destiny Etiko, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, and a few other celebrties to be included beneath this post have been involved in a public buzz for being over secret affairs with prominent men in order to augment their earnings.

Nancy Isime

Nollywood actress and model, Nancy Isime, was recently involved in a feud with controversial Nigerian blogger, Gistlover, after she was called out that her lifestyle was being bankrolled by a rich Nigerian entrepreneur, Michael Diogoli. It was alleged that the businessman sponsored her last vacation trip to Istanbul, Turkey.

It was also alleged that the pair were in a relationship.

However, in a series of posts made via her Instagram stories, the TV host came out to publicly dismiss such claims, stating that such false allegations are another form of discrimination against women working to make it in the entertainment industry. While debunking such a claim, she also dared the blogger to release evidence to back up the allegations made against her.

She, however, confirmed knowing the businessman, but asserted that they were only business partners.

Destiny Etiko

In February 2021, Nollywood actress and movie producer, Destiny Etiko, was trolled by a popular blogger for allegedly dating a married businessman who had gifted her the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

This development comes days after Destiny Etiko announced the purchase of a new whip, which she tagged as “A New Baby Added To My Garage.”

Shortly after she was called out and the post went viral on social media, she came out to swear vehemently that she had nothing to do with the businessman, Jack-Rich, nor had she ever met with him before.

The businessman also came out to publicly deny such a claim, saying that he had never met Destiny before and they were never in a relationship.

Nengi

While BBNaija Star Rebecca Nengi Hampson considers 2021 to be one of her best years, others accuse her of having an affair in order to purchase her luxurious asserts for 2021.Shortly after the Big Brother Naija show ended, Nengi purchased a new mansion.

She achieved another commendable feat on July 20, 2021, after she purchased a Range Rover Velar, which was worth 37 million Naira.

Not long after, she was called out for having a romantic affair with married businessman Michael Dion-Goli. Shortly after, a photo of Nengi Hampson and the wife of her alleged married lover surfaced online, which led many to believe that it was enough evidence to prove that the statement was true.

To date, Nengi hasn’t made any witty posts in response to the claim, nor has she opened up about the allegations against her in an interview.

Mercy Aigbe

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, found love again after she got married to a businessman, Adeoti Kazim. The actress’s marriage to her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, was marred due to domestic violence and infidelity accusations.

The Youruba actress was called out for allegedly snatching Kazim, who is still married with three kids. She also came out to debunk such a claim in an interview with TVC news that her husband is a Muslim and he is entitled to marry more than one wife.

Although Kazim has issues with the first wife, the public had no idea if they had settled their differences, but Mercy Aigbe has proven to be a happy woman again after she tied the knot with Adeoti Kazim.

Stella Damasus

Nollywood actress and singer Stella Damasus also joined the list of females who have been outcast for being husband snatchers after she started living with Doris Simeon’s ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan.

The singer didn’t make any public comment about the allegation for years, but later came out to clear the air. affirming that she can’t take a man who is happily married to another woman.

Toke Makinwa

Nollywood actress and TV presenter, Toke Makinwa, was accused of having an affair with billionaire Nigerian businessman, Festus Fuseyi.

Legit.ng reported that the kid of the businessman was raised to complain about their father’s lavish spending on him. It was also revealed that Festus purchased the 2016 Range Rover, which was worth 50 million Naira for the actress.

It could be recalled that her marriage ended because of infidelity, which made many people frown at the alleged accusations she was labelled with for perpetuating infidelity in another man’s marriage.
