For years now, legendary Afro-pop musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, has been head over heels in love with his wife, Annie Idibia.
Some are familiar with their love story of how the duo started an intimate relationship while Annie was just 15 years old, while others only had a knowledge about it after she made this known is a reality TV show. Reports had it that Annie was 15, and Baba was 24, when they started dating.
The music legend and Annie first met at Event Ezra Music Studio over 22 years ago, when she was just fifteen. However, the duo officially started dating after the shot of the “African Queen” music video in 2004.
2baba proposed to Annie Idibia in 2012 on Valentine’s Day, precisely at the Jay Jay Okocha’s Club 10 in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. According to an eye witness, the singer took her to a quiet section of the club and proposed to her, despite the fact that they weren’t even dating at the moment.
2baba and his Nollywood actress wife, Annie, got married on May 2, 20212. They also had a civil wedding ceremony in Dubai, UAE on March 23, 2013 with many celebrities in high attendance.
Prior to this, 2baba got his two baby mama’s, Pero Ademyi and Sumbo Ajala pregnant which resulted in their break up and probably became their longest-lasting split, which lasted for over a year.
The celebrity couple made up again, and Annie finally gave birth to her first child and fifth child for 2baba.
There have been so many rough parts in Annie’s and Baba’s personal lives, but that not withstanding, the couple renewed their 10 year marriage vows on March 18th, 2022, in anticipation of their 10th wedding anniversary on May 2, 2022.

This development comes after the duo had a messy fight on social media last year, but later settled the marital turmoil, which involved 2baba’s family members.
Recently, Annie Idibia got emotional and even shed tears while asserting that she knew the singer before everybody else, but her first child with the music star was his fifth. She made this disclosure in a chat with her co-stars on the Netflix show “Young, Famous and African.”
Her statement triggered mixed reactions, with many people affirming that Annie is emotionally obsessed with the singer and not in love with him, owing to the fact that the singer made the same mistake of impregnating his baby mama again while married to Annie Macaulay.
Apparently, we are optimistic that things will continue to get better for the music star and his movie producer wife, Annie, following the launch of Young Famous & African, which is aimed at rekindling old flames of famous media personalities.
