Popular movie stars Funke Akindele, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Nancy Isime, Bimbo Ademoye, Bisola Aiyeola, and Sarah Hassan have been nominated for Best Actress in a comedy category at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The organizers of the event made the announcement in a statement released by the awarding body on Saturday, March 19, 2021.

Comic actress Funke Akindele was nominated for Omo Ghetto The Saga, Nse got a nomination for her role in the movie Quam’s Money, and Bimbo Ademoye bagged a nomination for the movie Breaded Life.
Nigerian TV personality and actress, Nancy Isime, bagged a nomination for her role in the film Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards, while Sarah got a nomination for Just in Time.
Additionally, Funke Akindele also bagged nominations for her roles in the popular drama series Jennifa’s Diary and My Siblings and I.
In the drama category, actresses Bisola and Nancy were nominated alongside Kehinde Bankole, Genoveva Umeh, Asabe Madaki, and Osas Ighodaro.
